모집 공고

 

인지심리전공의 조양석교수님 연구실 Human Performance Laboratory(HPLAB)에서 대학원생들과 함께 공부하고 연구할 학부연구생을 모집합니다.

 

HPLAB에서는
인간의 주의(Attention), 자극-반응 일치성(Stimulus-Response Compatibility), 인지 조절(Cognitive control), 반응 선택(Response selection), 정서와 인지(Emotion and Cognition), 하이퍼스캐닝(Hyperscanning) 등을 행동실험 혹은 신경과학적인 방법론 (ERP, EEG, fMRI 등)을 통해 다양한 실험을 진행하고 있습니다.

 

HPLAB의 학부연구생이 되신다면 실험에 대해서 많은 지식과 경험을 쌓을 수 있습니다.

인지심리학 분야에 대해 더 많이 배우고 싶으신 분들, 진로를 탐색하고 싶으신 분들 모두 환영합니다.

 

<자격>

- 인지심리학 혹은 인지심리관련수업을 수강하였거나 관심이 있는 학생

- 이번 여름 방학 및 학기 중 연구 활동에 참여가 가능한 학생

(주1-2회, 주 8시간 이상 참여 가능한 학생)

- 연구제안 및 연구 진행, 행동 실험 및 뇌파 실험 포함 참여

- 주1회 관련 연구 논문 스터디 참여

1.     General Lab Information

Research in Human Performance lab takes a cognitive and neuroscientific approach for investigating the nature of human selective attention, cognitive control, and response selection. As top-down factors including current task goals, working memory, and reward play significant roles in guiding attention, members of the lab conduct research on how each factor may change one’s perception and cognition. The lab adopts both behavioral and neurophysiologic measures that include fMRI and ERP techniques in conducting experiments.

2.     Criteria for Eligibility

People who are interested in and eager to learn more about visual attention, cognitive control, and response selection are welcome to apply for our research assistant positions. What Professor Cho looks for in a candidate is someone who is planning to apply for a higher degree in cognitive psychology. Students who are in their Junior or Senior years of college are preferred.

3.     Quality of Work Expectations

Research assistants are expected to spend time in the lab for 8 hours a week. We expect them to spend quality time in the lab by strictly attending to weekly study meeting, helping graduate students run on-going experiments, and doing programming or statistics assignments. Working as a research assistant in the lab will help you earn advanced knowledge and techniques on cognitive psychology.
